What was your reason for cheating?

Comment below! Just trying to see people's sides of things since I see a lot of posts of cheaters! Not trying to find a reason to do it. 😂

There is no reason for cheating....if you think about cheating then there is no need to be in said relationship....cheating is so selfish and can honestly permanently destroy the other persons heart....giving horrible trust issues in further relationships and unnecessary self confidence issues....be single and sleep around no need to destroy another person's life....

I was young. He treated me like garbage for a long time and then someone came along and treated me like a princess. We broke up shortly after. If I were to do it over again I would have dumped him first but I was too insecure.

I wouldn't call this a reason, but my boyfriend at the time and I were fighting and on the edge of breaking up (for weeks before this) when I met up with an old friend and we hung out and only made out, still felt awful and even though that doesn't make it okay, that was my reasoning. I was Unhappy and sick of being controlled

I was 25 and the guy I was with was just super clingy and the feelings were totally gone. He wasn't a bad guy, and I felt like he deserved to at least have me look him in the eye when I broke up with him; didn't want to do it over phone or text. But the week before I saw him (he'd been working odd hours), I was out with some friends, and one thing led to another, yada yada yada. Not proud of it, but it happened. I'd never cheat on anyone I had any intention of staying with. Turns out, he kinda forced my hand a few days later, because I don't lie, and I had to admit that I wanted out over the phone so my whole reason for waiting was moot.

I've never cheated! Never had a reason to. I have however felt unappreciated, the spark  just fizzle out, developed feelings for someone else, been sexually frustrated, and felt lonely in my relationship and each of these times I just ended it... and moved on.

In college when I was already planning on breaking up with my bf I made out with some other guys, and did oral on one. Part of the reason was to get back at him for almost breaking my elbow and kicking me in the face
