castor oil at 37 weeks?

You take none period. That is NOT a safe way to induce labor. It's actually not effective at inducing labor at. all. I don't care who did it and had "success" with it. It's dangerous. Please do not do it.

37 weeks Seems a bit early to be trying to take anything to be honest. I wouldn't take anything before 38 weeks and even then it would be with a doctors Approval.

You have waited for so long , why risking it now ? It's your baby , your little soul inside and you want it out just because you are done with pregnancy ? Sorry but it's not ok.   The oil make you poo a lot and it can make baby poo in the water as well and we all know the consequences of that ! For the love of God please stop with this nonsense.  Also there is no 100% guarantee that babies born at 37 weeks are totally healthy ! It's your call , but is it really worth risking ?

After 37 weeks baby is full term besides I am 37-4 days so almost 38 not to mention that I am 3cm , and haven't had a bowl movement since like a week ago ... I am not downing the entire thing, just wanted to know how much people usually take....  *breath people, I am not trying to kill my child*

I'm 37 weeks, too. So i understand the readiness to get this baby the hell out! But castor oil isn't good for the baby, and can have some pretty scary events happen. Especially if baby is just not ready.

I have used castor oil before but never this early. Please wait till 40 weeks. Baby may come on its own before then.
