how you mamas doing with feeding your LO ?

My baby turn 6 months all ready. N I'm doing outmead cereal first she seem to like it . But idk how much can I give her? I feed her outmeal every morning now she seem to b fine n she likes it . . I honestly don't kno what's enough for them or how to start feeding them in scheduled with solids.. #firsttimemom. HELP PLS

Breastmilk or formula should be their primary source of food still. They should not be getting full off of other foods (no food is as nutritionally dense as breastmilk or formula). So at this point there isn't really an amount of food considered enough. Just present them with the option at family mealtimes and if they take it fine and if not that's fine too. If they're hungry feed them breastmilk or formula first because often they haven't associated this new food with hunger so they'll refuse. Around 8 months they'll probably start really picking up the idea of eating.

Gerber has an amazing website for creating menus for you little one! 
I give 2 oz of veggie & fruit 2 times a day, and 2 tablespoons of oatmeal. I add a snack (shredded cheese) and only give a few pieces. I do the three day rule for foods, then start blending them together with another added ingredient. Ex: gave squash Monday-wed. Introduced apples Thursday-Saturday. Puréed chicken and added squash and apples. 
Here's my schedule but it's in pencil bc food combos change every week.

We started at 4 months, gave him cereal for dinner. Once he'd gone through all the vegetables and fruits we added in a lunch feeding (veg+cereal and 4oz lunch, fruit+cereal and 4oz for dinner). At the 6 month appointment our ped recommended we start feeding him a solid for breakfast, lunch, and dinner so he gets used to that eating schedule. We also got the go-ahead to cut down on formula and try everything but cow's milk and honey with him. So a sample of our day now (6.5 months) is:
7am breakfast: peanut butter toast and 4oz bottle
10am snack: 2oz bottle and teething wafer
12:30pm lunch: 1/4 cup fruit and 4oz bottle
3pm snack: 2oz bottle and teething wafer
6pm dinner: meat+vegetable and 4oz bottle
8pm bedtime: 8oz bottle
