How many mamas have tried this and what were your experiences? Or known someone who has and what happened with them

Please don't try it, it's dangerous to you and your baby. Try walking, herbal teas, spicy food, or sex.

I wouldn't do it. First off you have to drink quite a bit for it to actually do anything. All it's suppose to do is make you dehydrated which is what causes the labor. So in the mean time you'll be getting the massive shits and possibly risking harm to your baby. My sister has tried it once and it didn't even do anything except give her the poops.

My doctor gave me the ok to try it when I was 38 weeks. I took 2 tbs mixed with orange juice. I did that twice in a 6 hour span. Started getting contractions that night and was in labor at 6am the next morning.

Welcomed my baby boy at 8:00pm.

If you do try it you need to make sure you are doing it properly. Don't just grab a bottle and chug.

I did a lot of research and talked to more than one doctor before trying it.

There are risks, just as there are risks with everything.

You just have to make sure it's 100% right for your situation.

My doctor told me it was fine to try, took 2 tablespoons yesterday around 6 pm. It's 9:30 am now and it has not made me poop at all, but I woke up with cramping and back cramps which are irregular but getting stronger, and lost more of my mucus plug . Don't know if it's going to work or if the cramps will just go away. Guess I'll find out, but it has not given me the shits yet 😂

I didn't try it though my midwife told me it was an option and told me how much to take.  If you want to speak with your ob/ midwife
