Dr Christopher's Birth prep vs Gentle Birth

So with my first two children I took the mountain meadows gentle birth formula and had my babies quite fast! Like hardly any pain until I was 8 cm dilated. Thinking of trying the dr Christopher's birth prep this time but not sure if it will be as effective. Anyone have experience with taking either of these to make your labor easier and less painful?
