Stuck in the hospital because of birth control..

I made a post yesterday asking advice due to some severe pain in my left groin area. My left leg began to turn different colors and swell. I finally decided to take myself to the ER and found out it was a severe femoral blood clot (probably due to the birth control I'm on, bummer 😢). They ran a CAT scan on my chest and discovered it had already spread to both sides of my lungs, which is called pulmonary embolism. I could really use some uplifting words as I go through this. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice?

This was in the ER bathroom right as I got there. My leg was reddish/purple and significantly swollen at this point. 
They measured each of my legs and my left leg was 4 inches larger in diameter than my right 😖
I'll be in the hospital for several days. It's very frustrating to be going through this so young. WORD OF ADVICE! Listen to your body!! I had been having headaches, chest pain and groin pain weeks in advance to this and ignored them until they subsided. If it wasn't for the groin pain getting so bad that I HAD to go to the ER, I probably would have pushed it off longer, and I could have died or had severe complications. Prayers for a quick recovery 😔
