Nightmares?

Can my 7month old baby have nightmares? She just randomly started crying when asleep and was breathing fast. Then fell back asleep.

Studies show our only instinctive fears are falling and loud noises. Do you think the baby may have been exposed to that and still dreams of it?

Yes! My son is almost one and has night terrors. The more aware they are the more they can dream... xoxo it's so sad but all we can do is comfort them as they come.

My babies have all done that as newborns. I don't think it's nightmares (what could they possibly be having nightmares of?). Not sure what it is or why they do it but i wouldn't worry about it.
