anybody else with a big baby??

25 w 2 d and the doctor says baby girl is 2 lb 5 oz and measuring a little over 2 weeks ahead of schedule 😳 anybody else been told this? What did your baby end up weighing? Should I be worried she will be too big?

My obgyn told me my son was 5lbs a week before I delivered he wound up being 9lbs 1oz he is now 4 months old and 20lbs lol if you do have a big baby you get used to it lol this is my first but I would imagine it's no different than having a smaller baby the only difference is my boy was eating a lot more often than the average baby.

Ultrasounds are wrong 50% of the time. Macrosomia isn't too common. I wouldn't stress about it. Make sure your care provider is following current evidence. Suspected big baby isn't an evidence based medical reason for a cesarean. Late term ultrasounds are linked to higher cesarean rates.

I was told my baby was 3.5 lbs at 28 wks. Just went today at 36 wks and shes about 7 lbs. The guess on sono is normally over stated, so don't lean too much on it.
