Run ins with officers.
I recognize that this situation I am asking about is purely anecdotal. I don't have anything at the moment statistic wise that would point to one sex being let off easy over another.
I ask because recently I got pulled over for the first time, my bad luck of being the last 70 mph driver in a line of them, in a 55 zone highway. I totally deserved a ticket, doesn't matter if other's were doing it too, but the officer merely asked me what the speed limit was and how quick I was going. After I answered accurately he said "be safe and have a good one" and that was all. No ticket, not even a slap on the wrist. He wasn't in a hurry to be anywhere.
I immediately told my bf and family and the unanimous response was "you should have gotten a ticket. It's the cute face of yours", whereas the same officer pulled my bf over near the same light and the situationdevolved into him being accused of stealing a car.
Which caused me to wonder, have you been in a spot where you *feel* like you got off due to your sex if that applies as well? I'm tempted to say it's because my record was fresh, but I kind of think that my sex impacted that decision as well.
