My son will refuse solids. He's 6 months, shows interest in food, sits up, and even does the pointer reflex! We started trying when doctor advised and he tried almost everything.. the only he eats is green beans or peas.. he gags and spits out baby cereals and oatmeal. Hates fruit. If i have an Apple (we've already tried Apple pure and confirmed he's not allergic) I let him suck on it, and he loves it. Same with pears. He will suck on and chew the baby Mum Mum teething wafers! If he touches the pure baby food or tastes it he makes a disgusted face and whines. He then closes is mouth and doesn't let anything in. We've been trying for a month. I'm thinking we may have to go with baby lead weening (although I wanted to go with the classic approach) anyone's babies hate solids?
