SCH mommies?

Hey ladies - I am just over 12 weeks now at at 11 weeks I went to the ER for a pretty substantial bleed. After a blood test, ultrasound and pelvic exam, they told me baby was fine but I had 2 sub-chorionic hemorrhages. It was a wait and see period essentially and I was a mess. A few days later my normal doctors office saw me and saw very little bleeding leftover and baby still looked great and that these normally heal on their own.  Well ... almost 2 weeks later and the brown blood is still there and freaking me out as I thought it had healed up. Anyone have SCH stories to help ease my nerves? I go back in Friday to the doc. Thanks ladies!

Yes, I was diagnosed with one at 7 weeks. It was relatively small (1.7cm) and resolved on its own after 2.5 weeks of pelvic rest. Sending good vibes your way. I know this is scary but its fairly common from what I've heard.

I started bleeding at 9 weeks 5 days. I went to the ER and was diagnosed with SCH. It is considered small and was 1x2 cm. I have had brown blood on and off since then with two other red blood gushes. I am 13 weeks tomorrow. Went to ob yesterday and saw baby flipping around like crazy! Heartbeat was strong. My sch has gotten smaller and they said it should resolve itself in the next few weeks.

I have this, too, but wasn't diagnosed until I started bleeding heavily on Tuesday and went to the ER. I had been spotting on and off since about 5 weeks 13+5 now) but was diagnosed with cervical ectropion as the cause and was told it's normal and to ignore it unless the bleeding gets heavier.

I saw an OB at my practice yesterday and she wasn't overly concerned since the ultrasound and fetal Doppler indicated the baby was just fine. My bleeding lasted only a few minutes but was VERY heavy and I passed a large clot. Now it's back to brown spotting.

It's really unnerving but every doctor has told me it's common and don't worry.

I had one and had brown spotting from day one to just recently! I had an uktrasound last week and they let me know that the bleed was no longer there and everything looked great! I am now 10 weeks 3 days and I finally found baby's heartbeat on my home Doppler last night! Usually the bleeds resolve themselves. I also had one with my second pregnancy and woke up to a gush of bright red blood one morning. That too resolved and I have a healthy three year old now!
