breast sleeping

I hear about moms breast sleeping with their babies. Have any of you done this? I've read that it can reduce the risk of SIDS. I'm a light sleeper so I feel like it could work for me and my daughter. My daughter sleeps in the bed with me some parts of the night because she gets fussy in her bassinet or crib! I was just wanting to know if any moms have tried this before?
