Forward Helix Piercing— infection?
I got my foward helix pierced last Friday. The healing process has been going very well. Redness, swelling & tenderness was very minimal / almost gone by Tuesday. Now, Wednesday night, it's so painful and SUPER swollen. Like, insanely swollen. It's a little red but not too bad, and I have noticed when I've been cleaning it that there's some blood around the ring.
It's super painful right now, I can't even move the left side of my face without pain! Could this be an infection coming on or just freshly-pierced irritation still? If it's an infection coming, what should I do?
*NOTE: I know how long the healing process is and that it's usually tender for a good amount of time. I just think it's odd that yesterday it barely hurt at all and today it's all I can think about!
