Just wondering, is it taboo to take a day off for a pet that's in the hospital? My husband and I took a day off after our pup passed at the pet hospital but a coworker of his said his "higher up" was making fun of the fact that he took a day off work for a dog. We were devastated and felt like we needed it. What do ya'all think?
