weekly sonograms safe?

Since I was 27 weeks, I've had to get weekly sonograms because I was 2cm dilated and diagnosed with an incompetent cervix. I was wondering if anyone else went through the same thing getting them weekly, and if they were safe and baby turned out fine? I'm just concerned they may not be safe.

Perfectly safe :) sonograms/ultrasounds don't use radiation, they use sounds waves to penetrate your soft tissues and bounce back an image to a receiver; like echolocation that dolphins and bats use. Baby won't even notice it :)

Random fact; Ultrasound can also be used to reduce inflammation, and is also used a lot in physiotherapy these days.

They are perfectly fine I have placenta insufficiency and been dilated at 1 cm since as well and since 28 weeks I've been getting them every week till I'm due. I am now 34 weeks. I know being high risk sucks cause you worry about what can go wrong but The best part about it is you get to see how much your lo changes through out your pregnancy.
