Backstory: I got diagnosed with endometriosis a few years ago and also from migraines. I went through different forms of birth control including hormonal ones with estrogen that include a skip week but my doctor told me not to do it because she wanted to stop my periods, then I went to nuvaring but that made my migraines terrible, then finally 2 years ago I got the Skyla iud since I have never had kids ( I'm only in my early 20s). Well in late April I had to get my iud removed because it down shifted and my doctor believed it wasn't as effective as it could be and gave me 2 options, either get another iud put in or another form of birth control. Well me and my husband decided we want to start trying for a baby next year so we didn't want to pay a ton of money for an iud for just one year. So I went with the mini pill. I've been on Jolivette for about a month in a half now and have been experiencing some weird side effects. I've been having some really bad nipple pain out of nowhere that won't go away, my sex drive is almost non existent, really weird sharp upper stomach pain every now and then and other things. I know about the inside reading that comes with the pack but that only tells so much. My question to you all is has anyone else experienced similar things or have a similar story like this? I'm in a group on Facebook and any time I talk about this I get ridiculed and it's frustrating......
