Hands falling asleep?!!!!!

Does anyone else have this problem... When I go to sleep and EVEN WHEN I SLEEP!! ...my hands start to tingle and fall asleep.. I'm 18 weeks now 
.. and I heard your blood pressure is low around this time so I figured maybe that's what I is...it's just so annoying and uncomfortable.. im a dog groomer and it happens while I use my clippers.. .. HELP!!!!!!!!!

I asked my doctor about this and she said it's because of our growing breasts. The nerves in our shoulders get inturrpted. She suggested stretching the arms/shoulders once a day for a few minutes everyday. I did this and the problem went away.

Carpal tunnel is super common during pregnancy.

If it's just your hand, thumb/first/middle fingers it's carpal tunnel (wrist nerve )
If it's part of your forearm, ring and pinky it's ulnar tunnel (elbow nerve)
If it's your entire arm and part of your shoulder it would be because the brachial plexus is compressed, which is a lot less common as that is essentially in your armpit.

Keep your arms in neutral positions (aka not bent) and you can slightly keep them elevated on a pillow to reduce swelling in those areas. Increased blood/fluid in the body during pregnancy can compress the nerves making you feel the numbness and tingling.
