advice??

Question

So this is my first post... but I've got a serious question!! I want to go to the doctor and talk to them about getting on birth control, but I don't know how to talk to my mom about it. Help!?

I told my mom a couple years ago that I wanted to start birth control. She normally gets mad at everything but instead she just asked me why. I told her it was for my cramps and my acne which birth control actually helped. She got my appointment with my doctor and I've been on it ever since

You don't have to tell your mom about the birth control. Just make an appointment, and head to the health clinic

Just tell her you would like to go to the doctor for a physical or say that you feel sick and hopefully she'll take you but she might not. What I did when I was younger was I just told my mom I had a personal problem I wanted to talk to my doctor about and she took me.
