normal side effect w/ mirena? help .. please?

Okaaay.. question! Is it normal to heavy spotting longer with the mirena after having it for 4 months. This is so irritating 🤦🏻‍♀️ . I talked with my doctor she just brushed it off. Really thinking about taking it out but I don't want to get pregnant again as I have a 4 month old daughter 😔
