WHY don't we love ourselves more? This was 8 months ago. I've gained 40lbs since; due next month. I looked back at this 5wk preg pic &am shocked by how I used to negatively view myself. It's a good reminder to be grateful for my body. Love yourself!!

With my first pregnancy I gained 60 lbs!!! I was 120 before then went up to 180 Defiantly put weight on and after having her I went to 170 so didn't lose much... on to my second and I don't want to gain much weight. I totally agree with you I should have loved my body when I was at a decent weight (which I didn't at the time I always felt too skinny people always telling me I looked so skinny and it would really hit my self esteem bad..) but as of right now I'm loving my body because this body is what brought my healthy baby!

This was me last year, a couple months before I got pregnant. 
This is me 70lbs heavier (at 36 weeks a week and a half ago) pregnant with my girl. I look back often at my pre pregnancy photos at this point... very discouraged with how I perceived myself then. Looking forward to getting this weight off and UNDER 200 AGAIN.

Totally agree!! I felt I needed to be skinnier..now looking back..I was! And I'd be thrilled to get THAT body back..you don't realize what u have until u lose it. We will get our body back soon and maybe we will be more appreciative and loving towards ourselves.

Seriously! I used to be soo insecure and now that I'm 5 months pregnant and gained a bunch of weight, looking back at my photos from pre-pregnancy, I seriously miss my body and don't know why I was insecure 😩

I know right I've gained a good 20 pounds and it sucks, but I took my old body for granted I didn't realize how good my body looked until now lol I'm hoping to get back there after I give birth to this little flower 😆

I agree!! My husband has always loved my body, and even though I know I look good and am healthy I struggle so much with trying to be satisfied with the way I look. It's not fair!! Idk why we are wired this way

This was me at the beginning of my 2nd pregnancy and i completely agree!! Ive gained approx 35 lbs so far and will be soo happy to get back down to my prepregnancy weight. Back then all i could focus on was that i was about 20 pounds heavier at the start of this pregnancy than i was at the start of my first pregnancy (2nd pic). But now id be happily just being back at about 147lbs

Such a great point! I'm almost 9w and look back at before I became pregnant, 1-2hr gym sessions nightly, highly restrictive diet.  Became pregnant and weeks 6-8 were awful, could only stomach junk food and gained 6 lbs in 2 months because I could no longer maintain my super strict routine. But even when I looked great, I always thought of what next I could improve on.... like here I could clearly remember thinking of how I could look better.  Ugh, ladies be happy with yourselves.  Easier said than done!!

I gained 48 pounds by the end of my pregnancy. 25 pounds are still hanging around 9 months later. I look back at pictures of my old self and wonder how TF I saw anything wrong with my body. I miss my old clothes. I went from size 6 jeans TO SIZE 12. I can't fit my old shirts and I'm stuck in my maternity clothes, or my very big t-shirts. I've got 2 weddings to go to around the time my son turns 1, and I'm so depressed that I'm most likely going to be the same weight that I am now. My friend who just had a baby less than 4 months ago has lost all of her baby weight plus another 20 pounds and she looks absolutely amazing. Her confidence is at an all time high, mine's at an al time low and has been since 4 weeks postpartum.
