Do you have sit down dinners?

Either with just your husband, or husband and kids. Whatever your living situation. I feel like nobody does this anymore. My husband and I don't but I will definitely make the effort when we have kids

Once in a while. My hubby works till 7 or 8 most nights so not home till 7:30-8:30 and that's too late for the kids to eat. So I make them dinner then I make our dinner when he gets home. On holidays and birthdays we try to eat together at the table, and we try to eat together for breakfast on his days off when our son isn't at school.

We have sit down dinners, around the table,  6 days a week.  The other 1, we either dine out at a restaurant,  grab fast food, or watch tv while we eat.

We have sit down dinners everyday. No cellphones or technology during that time. It helps us as a family to get know about each other's day and have family time. Also helps me connect with my daughter who is almost 9 years old. My kids value this time.

We sit down on the couch together and eat at the coffee table together, but no nothing fancy.

We would more often but I work nights the first few days of the week and we had the kids every other weekend. Now that it's summer they're here for a week at a time so when I'm home we try and we have a family dinner at my parents when the kids are here with them my sister and brother in law and brother. The kids love it!
