court case for my offender
I'm not sure where this topic lies, however it's involving a criminal case. I'm charging my offender with sexual battery and my lawyer reached me a week after trying to get in contact with her and told me that she wouldn't be able to assist me since she doesn't specialize in criminal cases 🙄 my case is on Monday so now I have to represent myself at 36 weeks pregnant.-_- (it's just really stressful also with the possibility I can go into early labor) the other victims won't be able to testify but it's a fact that I'm not the only one that's been assaulted..... and one of the victims was actually raped. I know having an attorney or prosecutor would be better in my favor, but the case is literally in 3 days....
How would I go about this so I can be prepared? I have evidence of him trying to post a Reddit article about me saying that my husband doesn't want him to contact me, however he leaves out that my husband specifically said that I wanted nothing to do with my offender. He randomly showed up at my job and I told him to leave, he wouldn't until my husband called him and told him he was on his way.
It's been a year but in that time, I practically became a recluse. I experienced high anxiety, my husband and I almost divorced, he had to go to counseling to figure out what he could do to help me and find peace of mind, I tried counseling but could never talk about what happened to me. I'm still paranoid that he could still find me. My husband will be leaving for Charleston 3 months before me and I'll be living with my mom. My offender and her also live in the same neighborhood
