How long did it take for your cycle to regulate itself after coming off the pill?

I'm currently on my 8th month and am not even close to be regular so am curious what others have experienced!

It depends what you mean as regular! I've been "regular" since coming off the pill in December. I get my period every 27/28 days like clockwork.

However, I'm not sure I'm actually normal. My periods are not what they were pre-pill, They're lighter, I have more acne, and for the first months my pre-ovulation temps were higher than normal. They're just starting to level out to a more normal range. I will say I've confirmed ovulation with temping for every month I've tracked it (four months) and ovulation with opk's (five months).

I'm on my sixth cycle post pill now, have been trying to conceive since the beginning. I'm trying not to get discouraged each month I'm negative, I really think my body needs some time to level out my hormones. I'm going to talk to my doctor this month to check up on my levels.

All I know for certain is that everyone is different!

I was on birth control for 7 1/2 years and when I got off birth-control my cycle has been completely regular. It's been over year and I have not missed it. And I have my period on the exact date of every month. However still TCC

It took me around 18 months, sometimes i would go months without a period and then other times I would have two in the space of a month. My doctor told me it could take up to a year but mine was longer. It's different for everyone though
