We've been official for almost four months but have been building our relationship since November. The first time we got drunk together, he dropped the L bomb during drunken sex so I confronted the morning after and he said he wasn't quite there yet...and then there were times afterwards he'd say it under his breath, while drunk, or high, which had only happened two or three times. This was during the first month of our "official" period. Nothing has happened the past few months. 

Last night, while we were sleeping, I turned to face him and he scooted towards me, whispered my name, said "I love you" and kissed me. Oh my GOD. I WAS LIKE ???!!?!?!?!?!! HE WAS SOBER AND WE WERE BOTH SLEEPY

My heart is so excited. I wasn't expecting that at all.
