I find it amazing how little MC is spoken about when you consider how common it is. No one I know has ever spoken about their experience so I had no idea how long it would take. Found out on 17th May that pregnancy was not likely to be viable (7 weeks) and a few days later that HCG not rising so definitely not looking good. Opted for medical management (2 rounds of Misoprostol) and have been bleeding for 2 weeks solid! I naively thought it would just happen quickly. Really did not expect it to take so long. Really want it to be over now. Scan yesterday showed no retained tissue so hopefully bleeding will stop soon and I can go on to healing physically and emotionally. This has been the worst time of my life and I have decided to speak to all my friends as all are having and trying for babies. I hope that by hearing about my experience it might help them if they ever have to go through this in the future, just to know they have someone to speak to... I have found this group a great help.
