So my boyfriend joined the Army National Guard and we had been planning for his m to leave, he left May 24, and we got a surprise pregnancy about 3 weeks before he left. He isn't due back until November 22nd-ish, and he's going to miss everything. Well, except for the birth ha. I have to say this is the hardest thing. He's been gone just over a week and I miss him so much. He's in Fort Jackson, SC and then after basic he's off to Fort Sam Houston, so there is no way I will be able to see his AIT graduation in November seeing as how I will be 8 months along by that time. I know we are happy with his decision to do this, but it sucks so much he's not around and is going to miss so much. I've already written him a letter and gotten him a father to be Day card, and included our first sonogram pictures in it. Any words of advice to keep this nervous mom to be, army girlfriend busy? We will be getting married or engaged in the near future but I miss him so much!
