Unprofessional/ Unnecessary?

JUST WANT SOME OPINIONS

So, Im scheduled to open tomorrow but earlier today I found out I had strep; so I called in & said I was unable to come in. About 2 weeks ago, I tried getting tomorrow off because my brother is graduating from college & I wanted to try and make it, but it wasn't that big of a deal if I couldn't so I wasn't worried about it. 
About half an hour later, my boss calls me back and accuses me of lying. He asked me if I was sure there wasn't another reason I couldn't work & I said I was positive. 
He continued to push about how I have an 'adult job and need to make adult decisions' (I literally work at target & im 16) and that he just wants me to be honest with him. 
Again, I continued telling him how I really do have strep and that I could bring him a doctor's note if needed. He said he 'didn't need a doctors note he just needs me to be honest' and continued guilt tripping me into working tomorrow. 
Long story short, I'm going into work at 6am with a 102° fever and no voice. Opinions?

Just bring in your note. Nothing they can do if you have a note. Even if he said he didn't want one, it just shuts him up.

You shouldn't go in. You risk spending it to customers and Co workers. Were you talking to a department manager or a store manager? If just a department manager, try asking for a store manager. Explain your situation. Possibly report your boss to HR. If you say you have strep throat, he really shouldn't even allow you to work. Tell the store manager you will bring a doctor's note in.

Okay, so I was just going through a situation similar to this, but on the opposite side of it. I can easily see how your boss would think you're trying to lie, even if you're not. It can be VERY hard for bosses to make those kinds of judgements, and because you'd requested the day off and been denied, it makes it look suspicious. I'd take him a doctor's note so he understands you were telling the truth, not faking to get out of work. 
I'm a massage therapist. I had a coworker who is 30. THIRTY years old. She requested Sunday afternoon and Monday off, after she'd been on the schedule for over a month (we get 1-2 months of schedules in advance). She was denied that request, because she had appointments already booked, and there wasn't another therapist available to take her appointments. She didn't need the days off for any reason, there were no emergencies. She just wanted to spend time with her new 22y/o boyfriend who she had been dating for one week. She texted in sick Sunday morning, saying she had the stomach flu or food poisoning. 
One or two weeks earlier, we were doing free chair massages at a school for teachers. We all hate chair massage, but we do it anyways. We were still being paid hourly, but the teachers didn't have to pay for their massages. She called in sick that day, saying she had the stomach flu, etc. BUT that she could still do her regular appointment in the afternoon. She was too sick to touch teachers because she was worried about germs, but not too sick to touch a client? She also said at one point, "I'm sorry I didn't text you sooner, I was in the restroom," to my boss. I know for damn sure that she takes her phone to the bathroom with her, because she doesn't go three minutes without it any other time.
