Do you want to know the gender prior to birth?

I've chosen to wait as I already have "the perfect set" (boy 1 1/2 year older than girl). Just curious if what the other moms are choosing.

I don't understand the surprise logic... it's a surprise regardless of when you find out. Birth is going to be an overwhelming experience to begin with so I'd rather know as much about my baby ahead of time as possible so I can just take him in after he joins us vs reacting to gender or any potential health concerns in that moment. We found out through blood test a few days ago (and all genetic testing came back negative thankfully) and it also made the pregnancy feel a bit more real and I feel more connected with him because of it. I'll be 14 weeks on Wednesday.

I originally didn't want to find out so we could be surprised in the delivery room. However, I've changed my mind recently because I have a really strong feeling this is a girl (it's our 1st). We don't mind what we have as long as it's a healthy, happy baby, but I'm worried if I'm convinced it's a girl all the way through my pregnancy and it turns out to be a boy, I'll feel like I haven't bonded with the baby before it arrives.. does that make sense? I wouldn't be disappointed either way but I'd rather be prepared especially since I have this strong feeling! If I'm wrong I don't want to be in shock!

This is our first baby so heck yeah! How else am I going to make up my mind on what to do for the baby's nursery. Also, I am tired of saying "the baby" and want to call he or she by name. We already have a boy name and girl name picked out. I want a healthy baby and don't care what gender the baby is I just need to know. I also want to do a gender reveal for my family but it's going to be hard not looking at the letter. Lastly, my husband don't like pink so he picks up boy clothes sometimes so I want to know so he can stop or continue! By the way am only 11 weeks soo I have a long ways to go. Sigh

I didn't find out with my third and that was fun. I am on my fifth now and I am definitely finding out! 🤣😂 the suspense is killing me as this will be my last so I want to know already. I am 10w3d

I love the idea of finding out at birth. I can't wait to hear my husband excitedly announce, "IT'S A...!"

Also, I'm not keen on getting a bunch of pink princessy crap, or blue sporty crap. I would prefer gender neutral stuff so it can be used for our second child as well.

I've already been told by my relatives how inconvenient it is for THEM that I'm not finding out the sex early, because it "makes Baby hard to shop for." I'm so stubborn, the fact that they're trying to make it about themselves makes me even less inclined to find out early.
