I am having such a hard time. I forget to pump. When I try to latch her, she pulls away and swats at it and cries or screams. I've tried nipple shields but they don't stay on. I just don't know what to do. LC's were no help. I'm going back and forth about 'drying up' but I'm scared that I'll regret it. Breastfeeding looked so easy but we're struggling. I did get her latched for about five minutes before she knocked the shield off. Has anyone else let themselves 'dry up' and not regret it?
