Christmas with extended family with a newborn?!?

Hi all!
I am due December 8th and it just dawned on me that we traditionally spend Christmas Eve and Christmas with all of my in-laws. My baby will be less than 3 weeks old. They only live a few hours away, so I'm not really concerned about the travel. I am however concerned that it will be uncomfortable for me to be amongst all of the extended family and celebration, away from home and in the midst of trying to breastfeed, bond, and keep a decent sleep schedule. I know the family is going to want to see and hold our little one, but she won't be doing much other than sleeping and feeding! Does anyone have similar concerns? Will my in-laws think I am selfish for choosing not to spend Christmas with them?
