No beauty comes in every single shade and people need to accept and embrace their own, not try and change it. Especially when brown/black people are being killed for having darker skin.

I support getting naturally tanned. Like being out in the sun, kind of tan. This sounds unsafe, and just as bad as tanning beds to me.

No, absolutely not. I honestly just view this as blackface. Especially the guy at the bottom. It just sickens me that it's considered beautiful ok someone who is white until it is on someone who actually has black/brown skin.

Seems very weird to me. I like being tan but not enough to inject it into my body. And I like to go around 2 shades darker not 50.

These were a really big thing a couple years ago in Ireland. I think they're idiots for injecting something into their body that they don't understand the long term effects.
 
As for it being unfair and a double standard for white people to want a tan, I don't agree. Everything seems to be blamed on white people, we can't want to do anything without it being unfair to people of other races. I empathise with the struggles of other ethnicities but there's nothing wrong with wanting to look less pasty. I've never heard someone tanning because they want to look black, tanned is different. So I really don't see how people can turn it into a racial argument.

I'm open to safer* ways of tanning so as to reduce cancer, like we have tints and sprays, I use a tint a couple of days before trips to parks and stuff, but other than those pre planned trips in a snowball.

But I'm also conflicted as POC with those darker skin tones are put down constantly because of them. Perhaps I will feel less conflicted as acceptance grows for naturally toned people.

I'd like this to be tested more or a safer alternative.

I have a few thoughts on this.  I've had some health issues that have caused me to become very pale and sickly looking at times.  If I could take an injection that could make me not appear as sick as I've actually been I might consider it.  My second thought was, could this help reduce the risk of skin cancer?  The photos the go along with the article are however, quite unappealing and do not show a glow, but are reminiscent of Trump-oompa-loompaishness.

I don't support nor not support. It definitely needs to be tested and ensured safe first. But I don't see this as anything different that a boob job or any other plastic surgery once it's legal.

Honestly when I first heard about them I immediately wanted them. I get burned in my car with sunscreen on, so if it helped battle my skin's fragility, I wanted it!!! Then I read that these injections were created by stealing skin cells off of people in heinous ways, so nah I'm good. I'll just eventually get a prescription for window tint and try to make outfits with beach hats 🤷🏼‍♀️
