still taking bottle?

Question

Is your 1 or almost 1 year old still taking a bottle? If not, how did you transition from bottle to sippy cup? What sippy cup do you use? I want to get her off bittle completely soon because baby boy is coming in August and I don't want both to be taking bottle/nursing and don't want her to regress! On thy aspect anyways haha

We have just started to transition our boy off the bottles but I'm going really slow. He takes three 7oz bottles a day from now on, so I plan to start with the middle bottle,  I've tried multiple sippy cups and the munchkin 360 over the last two months but it's only now he has any interest. And it's a basic Tommie tippee one that's gained his interest after me buying so many lol I think it will take a good few weeks to transition him fully but at least we have made a start!

I'm not sure How we'll get my almost 1 year old strictly to cup. She loves her bottles. I'm shooting for baby steps- bottle before naps and bed only and then maybe in a month or two hopefully sooner make a switch. She may surprise me and be fine with it one day!

When my daughter turned one, the day she turned one, I took all bottles and switched straight to only sippy cups and milk. She still kept her pacifier until she was 3. Now my son on the other hand, he is breastfed, turned 1 today, still doing the bottles while I'm gone and still nursing quite a few times Day and night. I have no idea how I'll get him off. But every kid is different and I guess you just gotta kinda go w the flow!

My daughter is still taking a bottle but she does really well with a sippy cup with a straw. She doesn't like the other sippy cups that have nipple like spouts. Not sure if that helps but if nothing else, congrats on your soon to be newest edition!!
