Announcing early ?

Im currently 7w 4d! I have my first ultrasound tomorrow and I really want to announce after they give us our first picture.. however my hubby thinks it's too early. He doesn't want people telling me stuff and making me even more sad if I loose the baby.. but I'm staying positive! I'm proud of my little bundle! ❤️ I want to share the news with everyone! Has has anyone around the same time frame announced yet? Should I announce it on social media!?

I have mixed thoughts on this. We lost one last year at 10 weeks. Baby measured 7.4. It was a failed miscarriage. I told everyone at 8 weeks via social media. It was awful! I am much more guarded this time. The sympathy and awkward conversations were very stressful for me. I am 7.4 today, but we are waiting until 12 to tell the world. My family and close friends know. My boys do not know yet. They took it hard last year as well. I would rather take the loss privately this time. It is a very personal choice and totally up to you. I just wanted to give you my perspective. Best wishes on a healthy baby!!

We told our close family and close friends as soon as we took the test which was 5 weeks. Everyone else we won't say until the first trimester is over which is also after our second appointment to make sure everything is still okay. I read from someone that good news or sad you tell folks that would offer you support and comfort no matter what happens. Share your excitement and also that you're comfortable sharing your grief. But always keep your positive outlook. That's what this joyous news is all about.

We announce early 💜
With our last we had a quick ultrasound to check baby was where she should be and everything was good at 7 weeks and we announced right afterwards- I'm going in to do the same thing tomorrow to see if things look good and then we'll announce publicly. Our parents, siblings and closest friends already knew the day we found out and the way we think of it even if something did happen we'd want the support instead of being silent and no one knowing we're hurting.

I've had 2 mc and am announcing at 8w, after first ultrasound. We've already told people but will do a fb announcement at that time. The reason is I've felt a lot of guilt about keeping my lost babies a "secret." I really don't like people pitying me, sorry for your loss, all of that kind of stuff... I hate attention being brought to my pain, which I think is why so many wait, but I feel worse hiding my babies. So I've already opened up on fb about losing 2 babies, and I feel so much better. With this pregnancy announcement, I'll explain that we have some risks for losing the baby but are praying for the best. And whatever happens happens. The more people praying, the better.

We just told close family and a few friends after the first ultrasound at 6w3d. We haven't told the world yet, but will tell friends as we see them and announce when we're ready. The way I see it, I'd rather have the support and love of friends and family if something were to go wrong. I hid my 2 miscarriages at first and felt so alone crying and mourning. I'd rather have had the support of loved ones. I say go for it! Announce away if you want. 😊

After losing pregnancies at 12, 6, 7 and a half and 13 weeks, I would wait. All was well but they died up to around 9 weeks and I carried them longer with no signs of miscarriage. I announced my first to family who told everyone in the small town I was in, and it made it super hard when I went for my 12 week scan and found it had died since my first scan, which was about 7 weeks and had a strong heartbeat then. Seriously, the few weeks will fly by. Just wait.

I want to announce to our close family on Father's Day. Im conflicted because we've had miscarriages in the past. I haven't discussed this with my husband yet. But I know that if something were to happen I need the additional support from my family. We won't announce on social media until our scans are done and we're out of the first trimester

My doc said it's better to tell only the people you would feel comfortable telling the bad news "if" anything were to happen.

I told my parents as soon as I found out. I told in laws a few weeks later. We announced on social media at 9w 1 day. Will be 10 weeks tomorrow. I say if you want to announce don't let anyone tell you any different.
