Hi guys! I had Nexplanon for about a year or so, I hated it so much. I spotted 24/7 and i had like no sex life so I made the decision to have it removed and get Paraguard so I would have normal periods. Well up until may 4th I was spotting 24/7 still. On May 4th I completely stopped all together, it felt so good because I could wear normal underwear without a pad I was ecstatic. Well about 3 days ago I started my period, and it is HEAVY. I was going through super tampons left and right, I bled through stuff and everything. I do remember reading that paraguard makes your periods heavy and crampy. That's what I'm dealing with now, I've switched to ultra tampons with pads, I'm just wondering if anyone out there has the same problem as me? Any tips and tricks on how to get through the week of this heavy period as easy as possible? Please let me know! Thanks :)
