Sometimes I see the occasional negative comment to a happy announcement post and I wonder why people feel the need to "rain on their parade".

It's sad honestly. Sometimes women say they've been trying for years and finally got a BFP and someone feels the need to comment their horrible experience with a miscarriage or a false positive or something that just knocks this poor woman down a few notches. Like, is the reality check really worth pulling the excitement out of someone?
