38 week Twin delivery?

at my last appointment my dr. Told me he would do my repeat csection at 38 weeks. I am so scared, because when I had my last daughter at 37 weeks she weighed 7lbs 8oz .. what if I have two almost 8lb babies 😭 I thought they delivered twins at 35 weeks.

I'm scared to death girl! Di/Di twin momma here. Almost 34 weeks. Scheduled c section for 38.3 weeks. My babies are already almost 5 lbs each. They still have another month of growing. I'm hurting so bad right now. I'm already carrying more baby that when I carried my daughter to full term, at full term she was 7lbs 1oz.

You won't lol they are twins . I had mine at 37 weeks as well that's the cut off for twins .. tho most of the times multiples do not make it that far along . Don't be scared girl 😏

I'm pregnant with twins (again) and the 1st set weighed 7.4 and 6.11. But I've had singletons that were over 10 lbs. I keep thinking these twins will be 11 lbs or more.

How far along are you and when is your next measuring scan, they will probably take them out early if they are too big!

My twins were born at 38+2 and they were 6.1 and 5.12. My previous two were 6.13 and 6.12 so I think you'll be fine!

38 weeks is better! My first son was 9lbs 4oz! I made it to 38 weeks with my twins and they were 5lbs 14oz and 6lbs 10oz

Yes! Mine said the same. I'm a small person, and can't imagine carrying 16 pounds of baby! My babies are already measuring 2 weeks ahead 😫

I made it to 37&4 and my twins were 7 lb and 6.3. You'll be fine!
