Disappointed in swimming "lessons"

So I signed my baby up for swimming lessons at the ymca and they don't actually teach the baby how to swim until after 2 years old. We literally sang songs for 75% of the time and then played in the water with a toy. No actual swimming or techniques. It was only a half hour. I really wanted to do actual swimming lessons and my baby is actually interested in swimming, she kicks her feet and will lay back in the water. I don't know where else to try to find swim lessons. Actual lessons.
