I got bullied for smelling
This happened awhile ago when I had my second daughter. I wasn't in a good position in life and put her up for adoption to a great family. I had to do some time in jail for fine payments. The jail was utterly disgusting. The shower water was one solid jet, and was either scolding hot or freezing cold. They didn't give you any hygiene products like soap or even a wash cloth. I had to use my sock to wash with.
Now this all took place shortly after I had her so I was still bleeding heavily. I ended up getting a bacterial infection and It didn't smell good to say the least. With no proper way to maintain my hygiene the other girls were brutal about it. They through soap at me and told me my p***y stunk. (Coming from a 18 y/o prostitute with 'magic' tattooed above her you know what and every other girl on the unit).
It was incredibly humiliating. I cried and told them I just had a baby. I was also mourning the loss of her even though I knew it was for the best. I didn't regret adoption but it's still difficult. I just can't believe people can act like that and treat others like that. They had no idea what my situation was, they just assumed I was nasty. And the jail should be ashamed for being able to run like that, with virtually nothing to even keep clean. I know it's jail but people should at least be able to stay healthy.
I don't know why I'm writing this. I just think it's important for us to be kind to others and offer help before we judge and damn them.
