please help! Does anybody else has been diagnosed with GRAY ZONE FRAGILE X while pregnant?

Can you PLEASE share your experiences and if the baby is alright? I'm currently 20w5d and I'm very worried about this 🙁😩

I have been diagnosed as a fragile X carrier within what is known as the grey zone. I have two children ages 12 & 11 (and am currently pregnant with my third) both have the same number of repeats as I do. Meaning the fragile X did not expand, and both children are not affected by being carriers. Do you know how many repeats you have? I would suggest you talk to an experienced genetic counselor. Some genetic counselors tried to intimidate me, and tell me that I'm at risk for ovarian failure, and my children could be born with intellectual disabilities.

Read this article form the fragile X foundation. If you are truly in the grey zone there is no risk to have a child with a full blown mutation.
