Our son who is 5 days old has levels at 16.1 and we have had him on the bili-light for 2 days which is an infared light that is supposed to make the bilirubin go down and indirect sunlight. It only went down from 16.7 to 16.1. I just am so worried. It has to be a 12 before it's normal, it seems like it's taking long and I am just so worried of damage it could cause. I also have been breastfeeding him more which they say should help. Please let me know if you have had experience with it. Thanks so much.
