So I just saw Hamilton and I love that instead of having an all white cast (because obviously none of the founding fathers were black) they diversified it and made almost every character a POC. It didn't take away from the plot or the characters at all. And honestly it made the show so much better because they could truly choose the best actors for each role instead of worrying about something as dumb as skin tone. I'm curious what other people think about this idea of having historically white characters be played by POCs. (I mean show business has been casting white people in roles for POCs since it's conception).
