Hcg level ???

Hi guys. So I got my very first BFP on the day af was suppose to arrive. (4weeks pregnant.) After trying for almost a year. I went for blood tests that same day and my hcg levels was 163. The nurse was rude and said that the levels are really low and that I should come back for more tests in a week's time if I didn't start bleeding in the week. What the hell??? What was your hcg levels?  Please someone tell me it's normal? I'm 4 weeks and 3 days now. Will wait till 5 weeks and test again....

Ugh! I'm so pissed! First of all, that is NOT low. Second, that early in pregnancy, the number isn't as important as the increase over 48-96 hours. Should double or near double within that. Third, I am so sick and tired of these doctors and nurses scaring all of you ladies like this! As if you're not already emotional enough, they have to be a$$holes and make you WORRY. Some of the women on here are pregnant after many losses but even if this is a first pregnancy, it can make you crazy thinking you COULD be miscarrying? I mean if you're bleeding heavy and your hcg has dropped below 5, then reality is, you've lost your baby. Until then or seeing something unfavorable on a scan, these 'MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS' need to stop being so mechanical and have some FEELING! Okay, sorry. Rant over.

Hunny, your numbers are FINE. You're pregnant and from what you said, healthy! Congratulations, good luck and don't listen to rude idiots lol!

That is totally normal for 4 weeks 3 days. My first hcG was 39 and then second was 131. I'm now 10 weeks! This helped ease my fears

According to my first day of my last period I'm 3 weeks and 3 day at only 3 weeks my Hgc level was 454 and they told me it was to low and should double over the next couple day. So I went back today and was told it was 639. My doctor says it's not doubling like he wants and he gone repeat the test on Tuesday. Should I be worried

Numbers can vary a lot what matters is if they are doubling every few days. Here are my numbers starting at 13dpo up until 5 weeks 2 days

My hcg with my first pregnancy was 47 at 4 weeks 2 days. He was born perfectly healthy. I think that number is great for 4 weeks! That nurse doesn't know what she's talking about.

Your level is fine! My first hcg blood draw at 4 weeks is only 27. As long as it doubles every two days 😊 That nurse shouldn't have worry you like that.

Totally normal. My first level to confirm pregnancy was 30 and by 4 days after that it was 424!! Now it is 20,380 so rising very quickly. Don't stress nurses can be awful and inexperienced with HCG levels especially for the dates.

That's normal for four weeks but I would ask to get them redone 48 hours after your first one. If your numbers double then that's a really good sign.
