What would you ladies do if your boyfriend thought that your dad was trying to take his place in your newborn's life?

Ever since our daughter has been born my bf feels as if my dad is overstepping. I don't understand why he feels this way I just feel like my dad is acting like any typical grandparent. For instance, my dad posted a pic of our daughter on Facebook saying "spending the morning with granddaddy" bf saw it and blew up. If my dad goes with me to my doctor's appointments he catches an attitude. I can't deal.
