Why is it so hard to buy gifts for men!?

Maybe I'm alone in this but Father's Day is coming once again and I'm at a loss. My dad is a typical "dad" and always says he doesn't want anything. I never know what to get him! Is there anything you ladies have given your dads that you'd suggest? Help!

I give my dad the gift of time. Time with me - museums, we have shows we watch together. He loves it. I gave him "time" for Christmas.

My dad is the same way. Instead of trying to find a gift for him, I make him one of his favorite cakes (lemon, carrot, and cookie). And this year since he's decided to go sugar free and flourless, I'm going to make his favorite lemon bundt cake paleo style. Sometimes it's best to just spend time with your dad or find something you can do together. In the past I've gotten him a wok from William Sonoma so we could cook stir fry together (something he made but my mother never did, so when she left us we ate a lot of it but we never had a wok) and I've even taken golf lessons so I could go golfing with him (I sucked at it but he really enjoyed the time we were able to spend together). Parents don't make a big deal about these things so don't sweat it too much.
