Induction scheduled for tonight but I wanted natural- scared!
My birth plans were changed at my appointment today (37 w 2 d) at my birth center. My blood pressure was high again and I underwent observation and testing at the hospital. It was still high, so my midwives agreed induction was the best choice (scheduled for tonight).
I went from planning a natural water birth at my birth center to having to have an induced labor at the hospital with little notice- how can I be sure to be firm in my birth plan (avoiding drugs/epidural/C section) and remain calm despite my ideal birth no longer being an option? Thanks!
