Why am I so shy about buying a toy!

I almost bought my first toy last night. I was using my own money, and it wasn't hugely expensive. I live with my parents now (going to college in the fall), but my mom is super laid back and understanding about those things. I made sure I went to a respectable site, I got all the way to the checkout and then I changed my mind and didn't get anything. This has happened more than once. Should I just forget about it?
