Is it UNHOLY to masturbate?

My husband barely wants to have sex. He all of a sudden doesn't think sex is important in our marriage but you guys I'm so horny ALL THE TIME!😭 I fantasize about him only but I can't find the answer as to whether it is a sin or not to find pleasure by myself. I feel unappreciated and unattractive even though I have guys throwing themselves at me! 😐 I never use toys just outside stimulation!

Catholicism teaches that masturbation is a sin because the only person you should be having sex with is your spouse of the opposite sex, and that masturbation is wasting potential children. Obviously the Catholic Church hasn't been updated on their anatomy and sex ed classes but they're behind on a lot. I know most other Christian Faith's frown upon masturbation as well.

1. Your husband should know that the Bible is honest about how important sex is to marriage you can look up verses that backs this up 
2. I don't think that finding pleasure by yourself is a sin you are not cheating on your husband you are just taking care of your own needs and yes they are NEEDS that God created us with since before Adam and Eve left the garden! They need to be taken care of or you might start being tempted to cheat on your husband.

Here's what the Bible says on sex it never directly talks about masturbation. It's a whole lusting after others that's an issue. 1 Corinthians 7:3-5New International Version (NIV)
3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

The Bible never talks anywhere about masturbation specifically, it does however say that a man should never withhold sex from his wife and she should never withhold it from him. God does explain that it is an important part of marriage and that it is meant as a means of pleasuring your spouse, but that can only happen if both are on board, otherwise one if left wanting while the other gets it all. I'd suggest counseling to figure out why he suddenly doesn't want to have sex, but in the meantime yes you can masturbate. The Bible does teach that concentrating on any man other than your spouse is wrong, and is adultery, as it says looking at another with lust is the same as committing adultery in your heart, so when you masturbate I suggest concentrating on your husband, images of him or what not. But you gotta do what you gotta do. Maybe even masturbating in front of him will trigger something, as a lot of guys think it's a real turn on to see their lady taking care of herself.

Here's how I see it as a Christian. God made all things according to his plan. Guys actually get blue balls, which is extremely painful, if they don't masturbate at all or enough. It's also been clinically proven that masturbation improves health. So if God didn't want us to masturbate, he wouldn't have made it a positive thing in our lives.

I think what is considered "sinful" about masturbation is that it could be considered selfish. Most sin has either a root of pride or selfishness. I would hope that you might be able  to communicate your needs and wants to the man you married-consider counseling as well. A healthy sex life is an important part of a marriage; God created sex! Your husband may be feeling stressed, overly insecure, etc. lately, but whatever the issue is, it needs to be addressed.
