clogged milk duct

My baby is 5 days old and is a greedy little boy. Tends to cluster feed for a while then sleep for a good 2-3 hrs then eat and sleep then cluster feed. Well I have clogged milk duct. Tried hot face clothe and everything and massage but seems like everytime I loosen it up he stops cluster feeding n it hardens back up. Wondering if I should just pump to see if I can relieve it but worried this is counterproductive as it will encourage more milk production at the same time. Any help ladies?
