Might not work for every baby, but my son (almost 6 months) has only been sleeping 3 hour stretches in the sidecar crib in our room. He sleeps in his crib in the nursery for naps, and had a late evening nap last week and slept until midnight..4 hour stretch. So I figured it night be a good time to try him in his own room all night...Well it's been a week now and he's sleeping 5, 6 and even 7 hour stretches now, going back down in the crib afterwards for a total off 11-12 hours in there. No crying!!!
