MISSED MINI PILL

so I always take the mini pill on time everyday and yesterday it totally slipped my mind because I went out to watch a play... but my boyfriend came inside me while I was still technically protected yesterday... I already took it this morning as soon as I realized. How worried should I be? This happened to me once before last year and I was fine but I'm wondering if I was just lucky. The pamphlet just says to use backup for 48 hours after a missed pill but I'm wondering what happens if he came inside me before missing the pill.
